I did it for a week,
Went to the beach everyday.
When you're having fun why do you need the internet to pass time?
You want time to go slower not faster.
At first you would think you can't but its possible.
A few years aback I was on another caribbean island when a devastating category 5 hurricane hit. Communications were down for quite some time. Was horrible at first but after a while not be hooked to the TV and PC was liberating. Who would guess using a cooler instead of a fridge or playing sports and games instead of video games could be so much fun
Without social sites? Yes, but I do not want to, why should I?
Without internet overall? No. As for example here in Sweden, the banks no more handle cash and stuff, so just the procedure of paying my bills would get real difficult if I couldn't do it via the net. And alot of other things too. I do so much things online, aside from the social sites so No, I could not live (as my life is amo) without internet.

Certainly. I'll miss a few people but it's easy enough for us to find each other in real life if needs be. The only thing it has going for it is convenience, but way too many things are sacrificed in its name. I'm pretty sure my life would be a lot more fulfilled without the internet and I would be a lot less socially phobic. Plus, it'll give me a chance to read all the books on my book shelves. So overall I wouldn't miss it much.
I could...actually I have experienced that for almost a year, no internet and no mobile phone. I lost contact with many people but I kept the important ones. Then I tried to live without television and any sort of media besides internet but I didn't like it...missing Benfica's football games and feeling dumb about actual issues is not my thing. Now I rarely use a computer but I have internet on the mobile ...however as a student I have to admit that internet is very important because we can find many other things books don't offer and my studies are very related to the media and internet which is much more than social networks...
