hello, I'd love to learn some Thai. Please share some more common words.

From what I understand:

Sawadee Krup = a "Welcome" greeting from men.
Sawadee Kha = a "Welcome" greeting from women.

Sabai dee mai? = Having a good day?(Although, I think it literally means "Having a good day or not?"

Mai means "not". So if your not having a good day, it's "Mai Sabai"
And if your are, it's "Sabai Dee"

That 's right! You 're so smart! (^^) Thanks for your share :) . Anyway please let me suggest more to others.
In Thai, There are a little difference between "Mai" in "Sabai dee mai" and "Mai" in "Mai Sabai" ^^.
Thai words always have low voice and high voice even they look similarly when write in English. In this case, You should pronounce "Mai" in "Sabai dee mai" in low voice , lower than "Mai" in "Mai Sabai". Both words 're spelled differently in Thai characters ^^. That 's why they 're not similar in their voice.

BTW, today I 've another Thai common word to share. "Khob Khun" = Thank you . For men, you can end with "Krub" (==> Khob Khun Krub) and for women , you can end with "Kha" (Khob Khun Kha) to make it more polite ^^....

Hope you will enjoy Thai learning! ^_^
