When you have exchanged a large number of messages with someone viewing the message history seems to stop working.

It seems to be related to the number of messages. For people with whom I have only exchanged a few messages I can see the history, but for people with whom I have exchanged many messages, past messages are not displayed when I click on the history button. �� :(

To be clear I'm talking on clicking on the "show history" link.

It's working for me (tested on a conversation with 4000 exchanged messages) but the view more button isn't working.
I know how annoying it is :s

Strange... it doesn't seem to work for me.

When I click on show history, in messages from certain people, it says "loading" and then that stops. But no messages are displayed. The view more button is visible but cannot be clicked.

I am not certain if this is related to the number of messages or something else. It could be based on who they are from. In some cases, for example, I think I am able to see them even when there are a lot of messages, and in other cases I cannot. There may be more going on then just the number of messages although so far it seems to only happen on people I have a lot of messages with.

Has anyone else experienced this?

I have this issue too. It only seems to happen when there are lots of messages in the history. I can view the first 200 messages but when offset=300 in the url I get a blank screen. I've also noticed the message dates given in the history are incorrect. They all appear to be the current time, not the time when each message was sent.

it's not working with me either.

plus, when i reply a private message, my sent folder shows same message which has been sent twice, probably receiver sees 2 same message in his/her inbox. this must be annoying for the receiver.

EDIT: this's now fixed.

It's still not working for me. The message dates have been fixed but now when I click on "View more" I get an empty page with the following body:

<body><div></div></body>

This happens using both Chrome and Firefox on Ubuntu. Previously "View more" would work for the first 200 messages but now it fails as soon as I click on view more.
