For one thing we have the right to live
Like in China and India where they will abort you if they find out that you're female.

The other thing is the economic issue, although I do admit females are catching up,
which is good.

Female foeticide happens in villages and rural outbacks or families with little education in India. But I hadn't expected that such a thread will be posted by someone from USA. Seems like medieval mentality is not limited to third world countries.

I'm European by birth but what does someone being from the USA have to do with the topic?

It doesn't change the fact that abortions due to gender happens in India and China.
The topic is about which gender is better and why.
Being aborted because of your gender seems like a big negative to me.

I think it's mainly hubris causing such sayings. The men who 'feel young' are probably the men causing reactions such as "Aww! That's so sad, that old man is trying to dress young!"/"Eww!
