Well, women are not drafted for conscription (mandatory in Algeria), they can immediately enter the job market, as soon as they graduate. At the other hand, freshly graduated men struggle to get deferment/exemption of military service (that is IF they're not called up to serve).
Clearing your situation might take two years or three, sometimes even more, depending on the case. NO job without the precious sesame.
I so agree; Finland has mandatory military service for all men -- except those who aren't eligible. You can do civil service as well, but that takes a longer time.

Women can in theory carry on reproduction indefinitely without any men (Cloning)
Good question. I'd say pregnancy is a disadvantage, but the ability to have children is not (necessarily; some people like children and don't mind the toil they bring ). I've heard that pregnancy isn't the most enjoyable state of being, miscarriages can cause psychological problems, and pregnancy can otherwise threaten the health of the mother. Birthing process can be long and painful also, and result in death.
What say the mothers?

I enjoyed being pregnant, even thru the horrid morning sickness, etc. I really did. I worked thru my first two pregnancies, no problem. And I was certainly spoiled some what. I had a sad state of mind with the first; the other two I was quite happy & couldn't wait for the baby to come. I had three c-sections - only down side! Should have had a zipper put in!

an absolutely disgusting and hard state as for physical one but on a spiritual level you love the child and can't wait to see it born. Giving birth is painful, sure and what you say about it is correct so pregnancy was in the list of my disadvantages of being a woman.

I do not see pregnancy nor child birth nor being a mother as a disadvantage. There is a wisdom, a strength, a warmth and a love, intuition that a woman posesses specifically for this reason. To be a mother is to know what it is to love someone more than yourself. And that is what it is to be a woman!

Do they? After all, not all mothers are good mothers. I'm sure loving another person more than oneself is not constrained to women, but I'm not so sure that such an ability is necessarily a good thing; there is such a thing as loving yourself too little.

Women win,
simply because the sex is better. let me rephrase that, it's waaay better
guys, it's time to get a sex change.
we've been going about it all wrong trying to impress women to get them into bed.
Just by becoming a female will mean that guys will try to sleep with you.
It sounds slightly gay, but at least you'll get the pathetic attention of strangers who just want to sleep with you and be done with it.

Guys I thought this topic was over when I said this
One significant downside to being male are X-linked recessive genetic diseases, like hemophilia and color blindness, which are more prevalent in men.
Hahah I thought about colour blindness as a second thing myself.
Downside for being male also is how socially females have far more flexible role and men are more restricted in certain areas.
So Finnish education works.
Care to elaborate on the social roles?
Of course it works... for now at least. I'm still there.
For example males generally are perceived to be obviously tougher physically and sometimes that applies to mentality too. From that derives many customs and roles such as men doing hard physical work and fighting wars, while females should take care of homes and descendants etc. Try it other way around and you don't have to go long way to the past and that's impossible. On very concrete level it is not really appropriate to cry as a male, but very appropriate for females. Females can move between both roles dynamically without getting bad looks. Then again for example something so basic like clothing. Practically girls can wear almost any clothes and have it working, but try that same as a guy. Handling that from the point of view that clothing apart from functionality is social convention when it comes to types of them and social code.
Even human relations between guys are typically different than between girls. Try to build emotional connection and guys shun you and girls ask if you're gay.
Something briefly what I got into my mind first.
