I'm a bubbly, vivacious and comically enhanced chocoholic java junkie. I love all sorts of arts & crafts, collect a million and one things, love to go "junking"​ and consider both Starbucks & Barnes and Noble (or suitable substitute) as a home away from home. I enjoy traveling and meeting new people. I love to shop, occasionally​ write short stories, am somewhat inclined to share benevolent gossip with friends, and like to try new things. I consider my girlfriends and guy friends the same - no funny business, but I do like to hang out with fun guys who can be nice without overstepping​ the line...

Can't say I'm a big sports fan, but I can talk/write about almost anything else. I'm up for serious fun - debates, issues, stories - you name it! Life is too short to be boring :) :)

I am interested in learning a new language. I speak/write both German and French with confidence; am intermediate​ in Spanish and have basic knowledge of Dutch.

I would like to learn basic grammar and vocabulary for Arabic, Persian and Turkish - and would like to build on the basics if/when I have learned them. I'm also interested in learning about Middle Eastern history, culture, traditions etc.

I love crafting - and I've tried and combined almost everything under the sun. I'm more seriously into scrapbooking​/rubber stamping since last summer, but am looking for some inspiration/​ideas/helpfu​l hints to get into altered art.
I make cards & ATCs, which I love to swap, but I also love to redo furniture, collages, decoupage and all sorts of other stuff. 

I also enjoy sewing, reading, anything and everything coffee related, and have a passion for "junking"​ (going through thrift shops, boot sales, markets etc in search of articles of interest).

My greatest love aside from my husband and two adorable dogs is antique china and WWII memorabilia,​ especially correspondan​ce from soldiers etc.

I like all sorts but it depends on my mood. I love easy listening like Benett, Miller, Buble etc; Hispanic music especially Gloria Estefan, Mana etc; Classical music; alternative like Nickelback etc; and dance music.
