I am a graduate from Indiana University Bloomington,​ and I hold a Bachelors of Music degree in viola performance.​  I was born and raised in New York, and I am currently living there as well.  I am taking a year off now, and I will be going back  to school next fall at Queens College for Music Education.  I would like to teach General Music at a charter school in Manhattan.

I would like to meet people from different countries who are interested in learning more about New York, people who are going to visit NY, etc.  I can't offer my place to stay but over the summer I can meet people and take you around.  But if you've no interest in New York and would still like to talk to me, I'm sure we can make a friendly arrangement.​ :)  I have already met 2 people from interpals! woot!

I speak German, so it would be cool to send emails in German.  I can help with English if need be.

I always appreciate museum exhibits and art galleries.  I also like to watch concerts of classical music and small gatherings, as well as jam in an occasional bluegrass session, though I'm no expert.  I love to go to Broadway shows and sit in the front row, so I can watch the actors up close.

I am currently level 1 in Reiki.  I have a past of being enthusiastic​ about holistic healing, that I no longer keep up.  Nevertheless​ I can hold a conversation​ in it.

Music has always been close to my heart.  I started violin when I was 5 years old, switched to the viola when I was 12, and I studied all the way up to college!  I still play viola with friends, and I play on my own as a creative outlet.  I also teach violin and viola.

I love classical music, it is the music that I have been listening to my whole life.

I also really LOVE Queen, they are my favorite band.  I also like the Who, Huey Lewis and the News, Lily Allen, and Eminem.
