I am a Mexican-Amer​ican girl with an open and curious mind. I live in Mesa, Arizona, possibly the HOTTEST place ever! I  love to learn about anything and everything about people and their different minds and cultures.

In  a few years, I will be planning a visit to Italy! And I would absolutely love it if I didn't looked stupid and confused when being spoken to. So I would definately enjoy an Italian tutor!

Also, I have applied to join the peace corps! I have requested a country in South America, so if anyone could give me some information on their SA countries about the people, places, politics, etc. that would be peachy!

I am a musician, music is my heart and soul! I play the alto saxophone for jazz and I play drums (bass and snare)for drumlines.

Dance is another passion of mine. As a Latina it is in my blood to move my hips to the music. I also fancy hiphop dance.

Movies and musicals take up a lot of my time as well. Also doughnuts. I love dougnuts.

I REALLY love to learn about Biology and environmenta​l sciences, which is what i want for my future career. You could definately put me in the "treehugger"​ category.

My CD player is that disgusting brown weird color that you get when you mix every color in the spectrum. (I don't own an iPod) Meaning I really really do listen to every kind of genre I can get my hands on. Acoustic, Alternative,​ Screamo, Hip Hop, Country, Classical...​You name it, I dig it.

Some of the CDs that I can listen  to over and over again however are Muse, Justin Nozuka, The Beatles, Michael Jackson, Louis Armstrong, Chicago, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Miles Davis, Weezer, Led Zeppelin, Pitbull.

Again, I am crazy for adventure. Anything that has adventure, war, history, or makes me laugh, I will watch. Anything with Adam Sandler is a plus.

Currently my favorite movies that I've recently seen is The Dark Knight and Wanted... Angelina Jolie WOW

Books are my life. I currently work at a bookstore, which is amazing! I am definately a bookworm. I mostly read books that take me to another world. It's good to get away from reality for awhile. Then there's also those that I read that are so real and make me take a look at the life around me! Some favs authors are Stephanie Meyer, Nick Sheff, D.J. MacHale, Jane Austen, Rob Bell, and Kelley Armstrong.

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chardonnay in one hand, chocolate in the other, body thoroughly used up, worn out and screaming...​ "Woo Hoo!!! What a ride!!!"​
