About Me:
WELL this is always hard. My name is Nancy, ill be 21 in May this year. Im Australian--my grandparents were from Egypt.
I LOVE travelling...been to many places but my next stop will be Europe. I Study History, Psychology and Philosophy at University and will be going on exchange for my next session (end of 2008). i have a wonderful French penpal who has convinced me to visit France, but I'm not sure if that is the place for me. Im thinking of Sweden. BUT feel free to convince me otherwise :)
UPDATE: My process has begun! Im now down to two countries: The Netherlands and Sweden! Progress!!

Everything again. Hahaa its too hard not to! It is very rare for me to not like a movie. Allthough i did watch The Andalusian Dog by Bunuel and the whole time i was thinking "?????????"...which is not always a bad thing!
Favorite TV Shows:
I dont really watch TV much. Usually its a waste of time. I only watch if im REALLY bored and want to do nothing else. Which is NEVER! haha
Favorite Books:
I love books. All books! I have a preference for Classics (such as Plato and Ovid) and Modern Classics (Orwell, Heller, Salinger) but really, this list could be longer than my music list. Oh and Hermann Hesse!!

Don't think too hard huh, you apparently already are so restless. ;)
Anyway, if you get fed up of France, than The Netherlands aren't far away. *hint hint* Amsterdam is quite nice in all seasons accept winter (which is just a colder extension of our fall). And to remind you just in case, our winter is in your summer. :) If you feel it's necessary (or you just want to), I can teach you some basic Dutch in the meanwhile.
Kinda think of it, you live in a country where a lot of Dutch folks fled to after world War 2, with the fear of the Russians with the cold war ahead. You don't know anyone from your friends or relatives that has Dutch roots? And as your grandfolks are Egyptian, don't you have to urge to visit that country one day? Or have you already been to Egypt? If not, where have you travelled to so far?
Talking bands, what are pretty big bands in Australia nowadays? Many people have heard of INXS and a little more recently Savage Garden, but as far as I know, I don't know any Australian bands that are pretty big at the moment. And I saw that you're not quite into hiphop and r&b yourselves, but to go and do some more philosophy. Here in Holland, we got a hiphop radio station called Juize FM, and there's a hiphop festival called Apple Juice. So I was wondering, what is it what hiphop folks have with juice?
And finally, to end this message so far in what hopefully will become a long friendship, here's another question for you to think about. Because why do you got to turn off your cellphone when you're in a plane? Does it actually have an influence on the machinary in the plane, just like cellphones can influence heart rhythm machinary?
