So I'm a 20 year-old born and raised in Hawaii... and I moved to Washington in February 2008. 

I was born in Honolulu (the capital), but my hometown is Ewa Beach.. on the island of O'ahu.  It's a pretty small rural town.  Here's a map to help ya'll locate it:

I'm actually a mix of Japanese and Spanish.  :)
English is my first language, I know Japanese because my mom speaks it.  I can also speak Pidgin English since I'm from the islands (practically​ everyone in Hawaii knows how to speak at least some pidgin or is familiar with it).

Cooking is like... in my blood.  My father was a chef so I guess I sort of followed in his footsteps.  I love to experiment and make people happy.

I love traveling!  My travels have taken me to Italy, France, England, Portugal, Japan, South Korea, Guam, Canada and other states in the U.S.  In the future I want to travel to Greece, Austria, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland.​..

I'm never caught without my iPod.  Music is my way of self-express​ion and relieving stress!

School stuff takes up a lot of time so I won't always be so quick with replies.. just a heads up.  :)

People male or female, interests, beliefs, sexuality etc. doesn't matter... I have straight friends, I have gay friends, I have friends of all colors​!  I don't like to discriminate​ and I'm open minded about those kinds of things.

I speak English, Japanese and Spanish to a point where I can carry on a decent conversation​. 

I'm currently teaching myself Spanish through books, music, watching movies/shows​, etc... I've been studying it for a little over a year now (both through college classes and self-study).​ 

I think French is such a great language.  It sounds unique and the more I study it, the more I grow to love it... I'd love to be fluent in this language someday.

Not to forget Italian, of course!  My Italian friends Chi and Vale keep my progress in check... I'll keep learning for them  xD

However, I can only study so much at one time... so for now I'm mainly focusing on Spanish and French.  :)  Doesn't mean I'm totally dropping the other languages, it just means that more of my time will be devoted to those two.
