About Me:
hey folks,
I'm 17, German and would like to get to know other people with a different background
there's just nothing more interesting than exchange ideas and perspectives with others
about what? well, everything from history and politics to music and sports
i like to:
-think (with thinking as your hobby,you never get bored)
-talk (preferably to interesting people who challenge me in discussion, be warned,though: i don't like to loose discussions)
-dream (i'm a dreamer...sometimes, all of a sudden, i drift away in some random thoughts or daydreams...i can't help it...that's why you'll find lots of '...' in my conversations)
i'm a strange mixture between realistic,pessimistic and idealistic...i can lead serious conversations just as fine as sarcastic ones (oh,i love sarcasm! i use it all the time, that's what makes life spicy,if you ask me)

Oh my goodness. D"= I know. There are so many people here that don't even know the different parts of a proper sentence, and then they go and make tons of phrases. Also, I take great pride in actually writing properly. 8D I'd rather write well and get good grades in my class than write terribly and look like an idiot. I think everyone should take enough time to actually write their native language correctly. ='DD

I think they say English is a difficult language because there are a lot of words we don't pronounce the same way they look. I think I meant to write that English is a lot harder writing than speaking? *shrugs* I don't know. Maybe it's just easier for those who are interested in learning different languages? XD My English teacher says that foreigners who had to learn English are generally better in the grammar areas than native speakers. They had to learn how to write it before us natives. We began by learning how to speak it.

A lot of people say English is one of the hardest languages.
I'm hoping that because I like languages so much, I'm fairly quick at learning, and I've got enough drive to learn the language that it shouldn't be that hard.

XD Overly eager. German is, after all, my family's language that kind of disappeared through the generations in America. It's a very nice language. ='DD

And then I listen to Tokio Hotel. I'd listen to more, but I just got into all this German stuff last week. Over the weekend, I kept asking my mother and aunt why we don't know more German. My cousin's lucky enough to actually be in a German class at her school, but she says it's hard.

I'm a third year French student, and I've been taught Spanish a lot of my life (and i hear it a lot at school...i can understand some of the conversations even though i rather i didn't).

yeah, apparently all the people who look at my photo have guy vision... meaning they're not looking at my face! lol. which is why i was confused about the comments at first, but then i realized that a small fraction of the kitten is against my boobs but i mean, come on, he's barely touching my boobs!!! his head is by my collar bone, thank you very much! lol
