I am an IT professional​ who was educated in Computer Science in Guyana, Ukraine, and India, and work in the health sector as a consultant.

I live on the Northern coast of Guyana, which is a South American country bordered by Venezuela, Brazil, Suriname, and the Atlantic. We are considered to be part of the Caribbean because we speak English as they do, and our capital city is geographical​ly closer to them than to other South American cities.

Hoping to make some new friends, as my social world seems to have shrunk drastically recently!

Computers, cars, internet, reading, fitness, traveling, hanging out, dancing, meeting people and learning about different cultures. This list is not exhaustive by any means, as I have a few hobbies and many interests, but people are the most interesting things on earth!

I like all kinds of music..but love rock.

Horror and suspense. I also like action movies but I don't recall any favorites, even though I do have favorite actors/actre​sses. I was impressed by a movie named 'The Edge' by Anthony Hopkins and I think that the early 'Saw' movies are diabolically​ ingenious.

Court TV and Forensic Files. The way that science is used to solve crimes is amazing.

That changed over time, but right now it is Newsweek and Times, which I know are not books lol.
