To search for a good friend is like searching for a needle in a haystack.
But I believe that the people who make the difference in your life come in all types and from all the directions. One must love people. They are lovely and nice.
I am Shriniwas Padhye and in search of a good, optimistic, enthusiastic, positive and curious friend with whom I will have meaningful conversation, year after year, because I posses these qualities. I was working in a Big Bank in India and now enjoying retired life, traveling extensively and keep myself fit.
This life is a gift of God to us and what we do with it is our gift to the God, so our endeavor must be such that pleases God.
Life is what we make of it. So I seek a friendship with good people for it will enhance my thinking and will greatly add positivity to my attitude.
My hobbies are music, travel and trekking, meeting people of different cultures and traditions to know their way of life which enhances ones attitude towards life and gives inner peace. I am a voracious reader of real life stories such as Chicken Soup books and lover of nature and wildlife for which I roam in Himalayas frequently. I take interest in cooking also. Reading is my soul and music, my passion. To gather local remedies, information, aspects of living and exploring philosophy behind it is my motto, thereby enriching the life of others. I love quotations and sayings of great people and like to exchange them.

What can I say about myself? Who will tell the bad things about oneself? So it is a matter of time through our writings we will be acquainted with one another. I am a teetotaler and caring person, with inherent humor in me.
