About Me:
I am a 28 year old female living in the north of England. I'm married but don't have any children yet.... I'm still dreaming of that house I'd love to own before they come along, as you can imagine that hasn't happened with the crazy economy which has effected the whole world but still I am dreaming as you never know whats around the corner :).
I work in a primary school as a nursery nurse teaching children who don't have any English and these children come from many parts of the world. Like all jobs it has its good and its bad moments which your sure to hear about if you write to me. Since September I have started to run an art and creative club which I really enjoy doing.
I'd love to either write snail mail letters or chat through messages with people from Slovakia, Czech Republic, Latvia, Oman, Libya, Brunei, Afghanistan, Malaysia, kuwait, Qatar and Jordan as these are the countries of children I currently work or have worked with and I'm curious to know more about their lives in these countries. If you choose messages to tell me about life in your country, please be patient in my replies as I will respond as soon as I get the opportunity, its one of the reasons I prefer letters as I'm much better at responding to those :). If you are not from these countries I'd love to still write to you via snail mail as I'd love to learn more about you and your life in your country too :). I live in England but that does not mean I live a typical English persons life... we are all different and have a story to tell which is why I'm happy writing to people in England too :).
What type of a person am I? Thats the part that all of us find hard to reply to as we always need someone elses opinion as to how they would describe us. I would say that I am a good listener (reader), confident in writing and can be when in a group of people but also like to observe, I'm a good moaner also but we need to let off steam sometimes! I'm creative, confident, always willing to learn new things and speak before I've thought things through... which can result in some embarrasing situations. I'm generous when giving gifts to friends and don't want anything in return, I don't mind being around people but I really appreciate my time alone too since I'm around children all day who need my attention.... well those are just a few things anyway and you can decide the rest when writing to me

Requests:

I am looking for FEMALES ONLY anywhere in the world, any race, any colour, any shape or size... I am interested in the person only!
The only thing that does matter is that I would love to have friends that can write a decent letter where you write everything and anything that comes to your mind but also take the time out to respond to what I have written too. Its nice getting letters but when the conversation is one sided, you don't answer questions or just answer questions but don't say much about yourself it ends the friendship as your no longer enjoying it. The other thing that ends the friendship is when your writing is so bad that I can not make out the words... so nice and neat handwriting only.
I don't want to attract pen-friend collector and am not one myself so if I feel someone is not the right friend for me then I will let them know that I don't want to write anymore as time is limited already for everyone that its unfair to continue. I'm sure you would do the same for me even if some of you claim to want that life long friend.
Please only get in touch if you genuinuely want to write Chatty Long Letters as it does get quite tiring writing first letters and not to get a single response... it only takes 2 seconds to get back in touch and say you've made a mistake... it would save the world a lot of paper. I have now started sending typed first letters only as they do not take me all that long to send and I can focus on my regular writing friends who do mean the world to me :D, these letters are always handwritten to them and will be to you too once we write. Also if people don't respond to these typed letters I don't feel as bad knowing that I did not spend all my free time writing to them. You can also send a typed first letter if you like but I would appreciate all other letters to be handwritten too as it feels all that much more personal.
I know life gets busy at times but I would love friends that write on a regular basis, I don't expect a letter in the post the minute you get mine but writing a letter once to twice a year is not a friendship as you miss out on so much of each others lives which means you don't really end up knowing that person at all.
*Females only, Sorry Guys* I am looking for long chatty snail mail pen-friends only from anywhere in the world, including UK and Ireland too so get in touch! I would prefer friends closer to my age please, thanks!
Language Exchange Requests:
I can speak and write English very well of course but sadly this is the only language I'm good at :(.
My parents originate from Pakistan so I can speak Pothwari fluently which is a mixture of Urdu and Punjabi, I can't speak them well on their own but can understand everything if spoken to in these languages. I have to admit though I find Urdu to be snobby which is why I never wanted to learn it.
I would love to be able to speak, read and write Urdu and Arabic, I haven't got any plans to learn it at the moment since it all depends on time but I'd love to learn both at some point in my life. I have picked up the odd word of Arabic from the children that I work with but one day I'd like to have a complete conversation.
I did French at school but its been over 10 years since I've used it so can only now remember the smallest amount... maybe this is something I'll pick up again but I'll see.
I also know a small amount of British Sign Language (BSL) which I attended college to learn in an evening. I wanted to continue on to the 2nd level but that was only offered during the day and I had to work :( such a shame as it was so fascinating.

Favorite Quotes:
What goes around comes around
Don't judge a book by its cover
Treat others the way you'd like to be treated
Don't cry over spilt milk
Your like a bull in a china shop
What has that got to do with the price of fish?
