How was dinner last night? Did your friends enjoy it?
I like to cook myself too.but haven't done so for a few months now..Dunno why.. Too busy I guess.

Anyway..I'm proud of you..History​ from 1780 to 1830.  Very intersting period. It's when our country became the Kingdom of the Netherlands,​ more or less our country in it's current state. The USA was founded. Very intersting indeed.. now let's get our fingers crossed you have passed. What do you think yourself?

Ireland and rain: I was there for a week in 2003, and I can honestly say it doesn't rain ALWAYS in Ireland. That sunday between 1 pm and 3 pm it was completely dry! :P

My weekend was/is rather busy. Yesterday I had to help my daughter buy a new bed. Ever been to Ikea on a saturday afternoon? It's hell! And then at home I had to assemble the whole **** thing. I'm broken now. Every muscle in my body hurts!
And today I have to paint the BBQ and more...
Another weekend lost.lol.
Oh well, I'll survive...

Anyway, the weather is beautiful here, and tomorrow's the weekend, so nothing to complain here. Saturday I will be at friends watching the game Netherlands-​Russia. And I even have to work some in the weekend..:(
I HATE working,lol.​.
Oh well, it helps to pay the bills I suppose.

Nope..Surina​m is in South America, and borders to Brazil. It's not Latin AMerica, cuz the official language is Dutch. It used to be a dutch colony. (In fact, we traded it for New Amsterdam with the English, and New Amsterdam was called New York from that time on).
The reason so many jews got deported had not so much to do with hatred, but with lack of empathy.
The dutch civil servant who was responsible for designing the identity cards was so good at his job, that it was hard to falsify them. And that's why so many jews simply were arrested during checks. Not that this civil servant was anti-semitic​, but he found that doing his job right was more important.
The book also tells a same story about the manufacturer​s of the ovens in the concentratio​n camps. They just wanted to build the best oven ever...it's scary..and therefore never trust people who say that something like that will never happen again.. It could easily happen tomorrow....​

But enough of this doom and gloom..lol..​. We beat the Italian AND the French.. We're gonna kick some *** on this EC!
