-- I'm teaching myself Korean. How? Books, the internet, friends.

-- I am seventeen years old, eighteen in a few days.

-- I'm an aspiring writer, so I might be overly descriptive,​ I might use "big"​ words. This is a forewarning;​ I do tend to write long-winded comments. I just enjoy trying to get inside the minds of others and I also enjoy talking about deep subjects (i.e., culture, politics, history, languages). I appreciate intellectual​ conversation​s.

-- I'm not the easiest person to understand or get to know, but I assure you I'm not a bad person. I've been told that I come across as "cold"​ or "mean"​ on the internet but I'm trying to work on that, and to be frank, how am I supposed to type on the computer? However you decide to interpret my tone is your prerogative;​ please don't pin your own assumptions and inaccuracies​ on me.

-- I am pansexual; I don't see gender, I see feelings.

-- I'm planning on teaching English in Korea someday. I am a little worried about how I'll be perceived by native Koreans but I've decided not to pull my hair out until the day comes. See, I believe that as long as you're a good person, a decent person, good things will happen to you. I'm a believer of karma.

-- I'd like to join Peace Corps. someday. You get the best of both worlds. You get to help people and you get to enjoy experiencing​ foreign cultures. Peace Corps.

-- Although I'm teaching myself Korean​, I am also interested in learning Chinese​,​ Japanese​ and French (actually in that order). I am in love, head over heels, with Asian culture, and although that may seem like obsession to some, it is not. I do not wish I had been born Asian and I am not an otaku nor am I obsessed; just mesmerized.

-- My heritage consists of Caribbean (the tiny islands Trinidad and Antigua), Indian, Venezuelan and Scottish. My grandmother on my mom's side is Indian and Venezuelan, and my great-grandm​other also on my mom's side was half Scottish, half Panamanian. So I suppose I have a little bit of blood from every primary race running through my veins. Although I am dark-skinned​, I am still a mutt, not a pure-bred.

-- If you send me a message that goes something like, "ur hot, let'z b friendz"​, you can bet your bottom dollar I'm blocking you, no questions asked. :3
