About Me:
Hello :D I'm Venetia, 18, live in the UK, currently at 6 form but hoping to study History & Italian at Warwick next year.
I'm quite petite, brownish hair, likes wearing bright colours (and brown), going out anywhere, and changing people's ideas of me...
I can't wait until after my exams, I'm going to camping in Cornwall with my friends, do a language course in Italy, go to Nice, and help at 2 festivals in England - Latitude and Reading, I'm so excited! :p
Oh and I work in a library :p I love it!

Requests:
Someone who's read my profile and likes what they read :-)
If you make me smile it's a big plus - you might even get a smiley face in return :-)

Language Exchange Requests:
I'd like to learn any language, but French, Italian, German and Norwegian especially :-)
Even if it's just a few words, or help with pronounciation, it would be very welcome.

Interests, Hobbies, etc.:
The usual, hanging out with my mates, music, reading, being silly with my friends...
I love organising days/nights out, my next one going to see Paul Merton :D...

Favorite Music:
I have quite a wide range, I'm always listening to the radio, pop music, rock, ska, punk, some metal, and any foreign music (I love Babylon Circus and Kaizers Orchestra)...but always looking to find more! Here's just some bands I like...Keane, Jimmy Eat World, The Planet Smashers, Reverend and the Makers, Billy Talent...
Favorite Movies:
I quite like scary films, as well as The Butterfly Effect, Lost in Translation, Amélie and I love L'Auberge Espagnole. I should watch more foreign language films, they're always interesting...oh but I think my favourite film ever is the Blues Brothers, I never tire of it :-)
Favorite TV Shows:
Scrubs is a big favourite, still makes me laugh after watching it so many times. I love Top Gear, Have I Got News For You is amazing after all these years...Oh and I've recently discovered Whose Line Is It Anyway - so good :-) I think I'm addicted to all of the above, I can't stop quoting from them.
Favorite Books:
At the moment I'm hooked on history books (partly in preparation for next year at uni) and I quite like reading fiction about Japan and China for some reason, although anything goes really.
For someone who says they love reading and books, I don't actually like many, they always disappoint me, which is a shame.
Saying that, I loved the Hitch Hikers 'trilogy', The Girl With A Pearl Earring and One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest was an interesting read too.

Favorite Quotes:
From The Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams - "Space," it says, "is big. Really big. You just won't believe how vastly hugely mindboggingly big it is. I mean you may think it's a long way down the road to the chemist, but that's just peanuts to space. Listen ..."
I can quote that off by heart...
'I'm sure you'll be able to find a way to help, in your own unique agitated poultry style'
'What sound does an artic turn make? Backstreet Boys!'

Yeah I've finished my exams too, but I'm starting studying next week again lol, I have two more in August, that's why. How are you? Sorry for the late reply
Afternoon =D Long time no speak - hows things?
Oh course I acted the role(s) perfectly, I'm British :p We brits have turned comedy into an art form. Exams are over and I have no idea when I get the results, besides I'm not too optimistic about my performance in them. Anyway I have 2 weeks off now and I haven't got a clue of how to spend them.
I'm not sure. I memorised some basic Swedish about a year ago but I haven't really expanded on it.
Mew is a very cool band, Danish though. One of my other favourite bands, Ulver, is from Norway.

Haha
Well yeah, it's just an international thing, it sounds pretty cool to me :P But yeah it doesn't look like I'm going to find anyone to go with lol so never mind :P I probably have to study anyway

Well I looked him up on Youtube and I have to say it's rather amusing, especially the SAS sketch. The play was The Importance of Being Earnest, I 'm sure you know of it, it's as english as we are. As for my hair, I think the point was to make me look posh. What more needs to be said, I was a posh butler :p
Don't worry I'll forgive you :p I've never of Paul Merton, I'm guessing he's new to the stand-up comedy world which explains why I've never heard of him. Well since last time I performed in a play (photos of which are on my facebook page), and performed in 3 concerts, as well as working and doing uni work, etc. I have 2 weeks til the end of the semester so I should be revising aswell seeing as I actually have an exam to do this year. It's good to hear from you anyway.
Logistics bah!! just pack up a tent, sleeping bag, lantern, gas stove, clothing and food for a few days and you're sorted. That is if you want to go almost bush style, other wise just a tent, sleeping bag and food. But still it sucks, what are you going to do now? What you been up to?
Well it's some sort of exposition where the whole word has a stand and gives information about it's own country. It's like every 5 years or something always somewhere else and it's a huge thing. So I want to experience it once, think it must be fun
ouais,c'est ca mon petit ile!
