Hi there! Sorry for being so slow to respond; work and school have been getting a little crazy lately. I work in an office and make spreadsheets...it's incredibly boring, but I'm saving up for a trip overseas (to Asia, actually :) ) next summer, and it's good money.
Well, I think that's exactly it: Western and Eastern countries are rooted in very different philosophies. For example, I think Eastern society places more importance on cooperation, harmony, and the common good, whereas Western society (especially America, ha ha) tends to value the individual and doing what you want to do. Both viewpoints have their advantages; it's just interesting how differently these two parts of the world developed.
I'm so glad you like Kim Ki-deok :) Now, so far, I have only seen 3-Iron and Time, but they were both so excellent that I think I will rent more of his films very soon. My boyfriend has Save the Green Planet, and we've been meaning to watch it together for ages now. The fact that you recommended it just gives us all the more reason to finally do so! :)
So, what do you think about being penpals? Do you like exchanging letters via snailmail?
P.S. I can understand your English perfectly, so don't worry! I think your English language skills are quite good. :)

yeah, I guess that's true, but still I should be able to download a language package so I can, but this computer won't allow me to do that. Oh, I see! You're headed for the army!
I had coopertest today. It's a test where you have to run as much meters as you can in a good time to get a good mark.
I'm kinda exhausted lol
Yay I'm fine How are you today??~

Hey dude,
how's it going?
Actually I'm student in France.
And I now working as internship in Korea.
This is a special way to learn, we do half year at UNI and half in a company.
That's good, I like it,
'cause it's always better to learn both theory and practice.
Especially in Civil engineering, the best way to learn is to go on site!!
How do you feel about going to military service?
