Sometimes I find it hard to keep the smile on my face, but then I do it anyway. Maybe there's a lot of pain in this world, but it's true that happiness is the best medicine. If there's no room to laugh in one's life, how is it worth living?

Well, I'm an 18 year old Freshman at The University of Oklahoma, and I'm Studying both Film and History. Movies are my life, but History is my second great passion! I love my Country, and I LOVE living in Oklahoma. It's my true home. I have a german shepard/Gold​en Retriever mix named Toby, and he's my baby! I don't know what I would do without him. I'm a hopeless romantic, and dream of someday meeting Mr. Right, but I'm in no way desperate, or using this site as a way to find him. I'm sure he's out there somewhere, though, and when the time is right-there he'll be!  I'm an old soul, and I often say I was born in the wrong decade; I just love antiquity.  I also write both prose and poetry. It's hard to explain, but something MAGICAL happens when I put pen to paper-It's like my mind's finally free to flow.
