I am a college student living in one of the most diverse cities in the United States.  I am extremely interested in European culture, especially Scandinavian​, as my father's side of the family is Swedish.  I am focused on gaining knowledge of all kinds and furthering my education in all ways, along with making friends from all around the world.

I am exceedingly shy and inconvenient​ly awkward.  Blue eyes, constantly changing hair (but usually brown with some bright color), 5'7".  Half Swedish, Half Korean, but I look so American it's kind of sad.  I am deathly afraid of commitment and any sort of affection, so if you're looking for someone to woo, I'm not your girl.

I'm a real woman.  I'm not a twig, I'm not vain, I'm not dramatic, malicious, or anything else you expect a girl to be.  I get along better with guys because I relate more with them, not because I am one.  I have a tendency to connect with people on a deeper level.  I'm not concerned about being better than you, nor do I care about pleasing you.  I am who I am, and that's all I really care about being.

Interesting people to converse with, or just someone to talk about the day to day with.  Gender is not an issue, but I generally get along much better with guys.  I am not looking for a soul mate or anything romantic, just friends.

Overall, just people with unique thought and insight.

I know a bit of French, but not much else.

Psychology, art, literature, photography,​ music, painting, drawing, sewing, etc.  I am very artistically​ inclined.  I was raised in it (thanks Mom).

Lately I have been listening to The Smiths, The Cure, The Kinks, The Zombies, The Who, Frank Sinatra, The Decemberists​, City and Colour, Damien Rice, Rocky Votolato, Elliott Smith, Manchester Orchestra, We Are Scientists, Camera Obscura, As Tall As Lions, Modest Mouse, etc.


I simply love all types of music, except for that which conveys no real emotion or passion, just strictly cliches (like rap, for example).  I do confess, I go for the occasional poppy album.  It's a weakness of my femininity.

Love all movies.

Heroes, Scrubs, House, NCIS, Any CSI, Law&Orde​r, etc.

LOVE books.  LOVE LOVE LOVE them.  I will read anything you stick under my nose.
