Hello!  My name is Steve and I would like to introduce myself.  I’m 62 years old, retired and I live in Pennsylvania​ USA.  I enjoy meeting new people, learning about new places and new cultures.  I have learned not to take my life and myself too seriously, the events of the world provide enough drama in my life, I do not need to add to that.  I have a quirky (sometimes strange!) sense of humor.  I find something bright in the darkest cloud.  Take a chance and let me brighten your life and you will do the same for me.  Please leave a note on my wall so that we may begin to brighten each other's lives.  Thank you for viewing my profile.

I would like to correspond with ladies from all parts of the world.  Please do not ask for money, gifts, visas or marriage.  I have little patience for any person who attempts to take advantage of my financial or personal well being.  Preference is given to persons with "real"​ photos on their profiles, not landscapes, animals, flowers, etc.  I have my photo posted on my profile, and I expect to see "your"​ photo on "your"​ profile, not an art exhibit.

I have excellent written and verbal skills in the English language.  I read and write well in Spanish.  Also, I can read fair in Italian and I am able to write basic Italian phrases, but not conversation​al Italian.  I consider Spanish to be my second written language.

I enjoy being on the Internet and learning about computers, I have above average computer skills and I enjoy building my own computers.  I like to keep up on current events, politics and the workings of the government.  I don't watch much television, but I do watch the cable news networks, the Discovery and History Channels.  I try to learn something new each day of my life.

I enjoy all types and styles of music.  I have a large collection of songs including rock, country, tejano, blues, hip-hop and many other styles of music.  I especially enjoy listening to Latin songs and popular oldies from the 1950’s, 60’s and 70’s.  I also enjoy many of the popular songs from today and the past 20 years.  I would rather listen to music than watch a boring television show with my brain asleep from boredom.

My favorite books are science fiction by such writers as H.G Wells, Robert Heinlein and Ray Bradbury, just to name a few.  Some of my favorite science books are “Fahrenheit 451”, “2001 - A Space Odyssey” and “The Lensman Series”, just to name a few.
