About Me:
I am a 45 year old man from Pennsylvania..I live in a log house in the middle of some very scenic country..
I work 3rd shift at a flourishing factory complex in the middle of Central Pa. I am a Supervisor for 55 employees which sounds ok and all..
BUT our product will make you chuckle...We make TAMPONS!...Yep I am employed at a Tampon factory!
So laugh it up people..At least knowing this you realize I must have a good sense of humor right?
I live in what might be called a Black Bear paradise because there might be a chance they out number the human residents!

So, how is life down your way? I am getting along better with this big brace on my leg. I made it out to the barn today to take care of the chickens and wild cats. but it took quite a while to walk out there. No way am I using crutches on the snow and ice!
Tons of small winter birds here now and I saw a coyote yesterday. It was healthy looking so that is good that they are getting enough food and will leave my critters alone. I keep fire crackers and bottle rockets on hand to get the wild things running for the hills, hate to use guns and the fireworks are a lot cheaper and legal up here. I am not letting the cats out and the small dogs go out on a long pead whith me on the other end as the Bald eagles are here and will eat anything they can see . There are 4000 plus of them here right now and it is great to see them.
Hope all is well,
Dianne

Thanks for the laugh. I have had some very off the wall jobs in my life but for a guy yours must take the top prize. Actually tampons are good to take out in the woods when you need some first aide they can stop a bad bleed and for a fire all you need is the tampon cotton as fodder for a fire. I used to carry Pringles to start fires but the bears can smell them a mile away.
You have lots of black bears where I see more grizzly bears but we do have black bears here also as well as a large healthy population of wolves so thus my area has no deer population. Moose do well here though.
Do drop a line when you have time. Winter is setting in here so after my chores I spend a bit of time on the computer.
