I'm an American teacher and editor living in Istanbul, Turkey for the past five years.  I grew up in Portland, Maine (a little north of Boston) and lived in Boston for four years.  I really enjoy traveling, so I want to make as many friends as possible from other countries to find out more about different places in the world. Who knows? Maybe a really good friendship will come out of it. I'm very openminded and intellectual​ly curious, politically liberal. Studied politics and history at university.  No topics are off limits.  I can discuss anything with anyone. I enjoy dance, write poetry, all styles of music (from hardcore metal to jazz, blues and classical), art, history, politics, philosophy..​.anything that will get me thinking.  Looking to make good friends with open minds who want to have stimulating conversation​s and possibly make a good friend.
