About Me:

I'm an American English teacher and editor living in Istanbul, Turkey for the past six and a half years.  I was born in Washington, D.C., grew up in Portland, Maine (a little north of Boston) and lived in Boston for four years.  I really enjoy traveling, so I want to make as many friends as possible from other countries to find out more about different places in the world. Who knows? Maybe a really good friendship will come out of it. I'm very openminded and intellectually curious, politically liberal. Studied politics and history at university.  No topics are off limits.  I can discuss anything with anyone. I enjoy dance, writing, all styles of music (from hardcore metal to jazz, blues and classical), art, history, politics, philosophy...anything that will get me thinking.  I'm a sincere person with a passion for books and films.  I insist that others be sincere as well.  I've been told that I seem about half my age.  Is that good or bad?  You decide. I am looking to make good friends with open minds who want to have stimulating conversations and possibly make a good friend. :)

your username caught my attention...indeed its quite apt  keeping your interests/lifestyle in mind! Oh and as regards the age..yup people are right in what they say if not 21 one could easily wipe at least 10 yrs off your age! especially if one were to just look at your profile pic ( the main one i mean) And that is always always a good thing!! For " face is the index of the mind!"
Oh and by the way...what book is that , the one lying on the table? lol sorry I couldn't help noticing ;p
Blessings,
Mahima :)
