Hi how are you doing?
I've come back from a long trip in western Japan. Starting from Fukuoka where I attended an international conference, I went to Nagasaki, Hiroshima, Miyajima(the world heritage), Ikuchijima(Inland Sea), Imabari in Shikoku island. The ceremony to pray for the peace in Nagasaki was very moving.
I drove down to Shikoku island by Shimanami Ohashi (Shimanami bridges) which connect islands to Imabari twice while I was staying in my hometown in Hiroshima. It was an asesome trip. Oh, I gave a nice presentation at the conference.
Now, I am on my summer break officially! Yeah! I am planning to visit Cambodia in September before the fall semetser begins.
BTW, the fall semester will begin in the end of September. I will call for participation in my project again before the fall semetser begins.
Have happy days to you all.

I am teaching English to Japanese university students and seeking sincere people to join our own SNS (social networking service) in English. SNS is kind of a mixed activity of My Space and Facebook.
We Japanese don't have many chances to use English in our daily life. This activity is for my students to practice writing in English. However, without good input, they cannot improve their English. Could you help us with our English? Aren't you interested in getting to know Japan, Japanese culture, and Japanese youg people?
On our SNS, the participants keep a diary, read each others' diaries, give commemnts, and communicate with each other. You can write whatever you want, or you can stay there as a commentator.
Your writings could be great resources for my students for sure.
Also we can get to know each other, and our countries, talk about some issues we have.
At the present, members from InterPals are ranged from 15 to 67 years old from around 30 countries. I am amazed at how nice they are. They write, read, and give comments and communicate with my students. The students also come back even after their semester.
One drawback is that the directions are in Japanese. However, if you're familiar with this kind of site, you can handle our site. And I will help you for sure. Manuals have been made by the first member from InterPals who doesn't know Japanese.
Won't you share your stories from your daily life, your concerns or anything with young Japanese university students? If you want to practice Japanese, you're welcome to do so.
BTW, I myself like meeting with new friends from all over the world. And currently, I've been enjoying the exchages with friends from InterPals.
Thank you for reading! Have a nice day!
日本語の練習をしたい人もどうぞ。英語と日本語で日記を書くと、お互いにとって、より勉強になりますよね。興味があったらメッセージをください。

Thank you for your interest in my project. Thanks to the members from this site, I've been having a great time with my students. Yes, the people from InterPals have made a big difference in my SNS. Unfortunatelyh, the spring semester is over now. I will call for participation in the fall semester again. Till then, have a great summer, or, winter!
Cheers from Japan!
