Yea, music really helps.
Other things that make up my life, hmm... My family (and my dog who belongs to it), friends, hobbies, all kind of stuff like that. I didnt even notice how important my friends are to me before I came to America for this summer. I dont have much friends here and I miss my friends in Finland so much! I hope they have noticed that they are important to me even that I havent said it.
How about you?

Is it not a saying? You know, if something is kind of pretty average or something most of the time, but then there is one moment of complete and utter genius, and if you just caught that one moment, you would think the whole thing was awesome. Like when you put wine in a pan and there is the big fire thing, but the rest of the time, it's pretty boring :-D Unfortunately, however, fantasy isn't something I read much of, which might explain why I didn't know the reference, though I would probably happily carve things from the bone thing. I quite enjoy carving! But krimskrams is just a word in certain Germanic languages (like German, say!) for...well, knick-knacks. Just a bunch of little things that don't really deserve a name. Junk, bits and bobs. It's from a quote, about how everything in the universe is just "krimskrams", but even krimskrams can accumulate to make something impressive, like people and planets and galaxies. Oh, it's deep! :-P And yes, I do play violin (or at least a sort of violin), but I never really had a teacher. I suppose it's like with you, I had imagined an ACTUAL proper teacher, if you know what I mean. I suppose we can let them off, though, in this case. Unfortunately I haven't done ANY searching for musicians, really. Kind of more hoping it would magically come up in conversation somehow, though even I don't understand how that would happen...I think I'm just naturally lazy, I tell you that!

why you want to discuss mythology if you don't know about it almost anything? sorry for the question... maybe it doesn't sound well but I don't have the best mood today... well.... there are so many legends and they are so long... too long to tell them. but i think that you can find a lot of them on internet =)

hi! the kaval is a beautiful flute found in various versions around the bulgaria, turkey, macedonia area. here is a video of a turkish kaval player http://youtube.com/watch?v=AUcJh59mn4c . its a really old and interesting instrument. Its basically a wooden tube with fingerholes, so its difficult to learn. no mouthpiece so you have to learn how to control the air stream when you blow. difficult when you do not have anyone to teach you :o).  i do like metal as well, i like almost all music :o). i like both power and folk metal, old metal, norse metal, melodic death metal :o). im not a metalhead though ;o).

Well, everywhere is a strange name when you think about. Just some seem REALLY Australian. I quite liked Schandmaul, but I didn't hear enough to know if it was a flash in the pan, so to speak. And I also have no idea what all the ten towns of Icewind Dale are, so I'm going to guess no. Please enlighten me, we can make it a retrospective reason. I am, however, SHOCKED that a violin teacher would break a violin. I mean, I have no experience with them myself, but I always thought they would say "let me do this, you might break it if you do it", so you would think they would be able to handle it without breaking anything. Hope it's nothing to serious. And no, I'm not in a band. My excuse is probably something like "nobody else is good enough!", but the real reason is more "nobody else wants to play this stuff..."

Firstly: Sunshine Coast? Are you serious? [Home & Away joke coming up:] is Summer Bay on that coast? Hehe...ignore me, I know I'm not funny! Either way, hi! Or "g'day", if I must continue Aussie references. Didgeridoo. Geelong. Christmas BBQ. Seriously, though: looked up Schandmaul, and they sound quite similar to the Norwegian band, Gåte. If we're trading names, that is, though I did mine subtly. But how are you progressing with the...instrumental efforts, might be the word? Tin whistle strikes me as the easiest of those four, mind you. Buuut I could easily be mistaken, because I'm not Irish, so I've never played one. And yes, I know that non-Irish people are allowed to play it :-P
