About Me:

I'm Paul. Not all that much to say really about myself. If you want to know anything, just leave a comment or add me on MSN.

Am 19, live in Spondon in Derby. Was at South East Derbyshire College studying Media, Music Technology and Geography at A2 level.

Please don't start insulting my railway hobby randomly because you think 'Trains are rubbish' and 'Trainspotting is weird.' Firstly, I don't trainspot and secondly I get more fun and have achieved out of volunteering at a heritage railway that most other people have in their lives.

I currently volunteer at The Midland Railway - Butterley, which is near Alfreton and just below Ripley in Derbyshire. I recently passed out as a passenger Guard and am currently training to be a fireman on steam engines. I also run the model railway layout at Butterley Station as well.

Requests:

Looking for (hopefully) a penpal in Smigiel in Poland as I will be travelling there in a few weeks, but am happy to get it touch with almost anybody really, even people from the UK!

Interests, Hobbies, etc.:

Favorite TV Shows:

Doctor Who, of course. Utterley fantastic program - don't normally mind a good chat about that! Ashes to Ashes is a new favourite of mine. Dead Ringers, Little Britain, few other things as well. Don't like soaps though! Like a lot of older shows - Anderson puppet shows like Thunderbirds and Captain Scarlet I'm a fan of (loads of interesting facts and models to look at); The Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy is genius and such a fantastic show as well.

Favorite Books:

Normally read more factual books!

Favorite Quotes:

'Kebabs? Bah! They're just pasties with their arses hanging out.'

Hello Paul ...or should I say 'ayup me duck!' seen as we're both East Midlanders ;) (sorry I just had to!)
Hmm I had heard of Spondon before but wasn't too sure where abouts it was on the map so I just had a little look on google, it's pretty close to Notts! I was going to say that my Mum is from Ripley and so are all that side of the family (so I'm half...derbyshireish) and that I've been to the Peak District many many times, but then I realised that neither are actually very close to Derby itself so it wouldn't be of any interest...hum! Do you come to Nottingham often anyways?
I live in a village called 'Burton Joyce' which is just on the outskirts of the city, famous for it's O.A.P population and whatnot.
