About Me:
i do not use capitalization, even when writing by hand. some people have mentioned that this disturbs them, so i thought i should probably throw that out there first thing.
i quit college several years ago, but i'm not an idiot. i just prefer to figure things out for myself and didn't feel it was important to finish just because everyone who isn't going to have a career repairing air conditioners is expected to get a degree. sorry, mom and dad.
taking a month off and going on a road trip across america by myself is the scariest the i've ever done. it's also the best decision i've ever made. it had been my dream to drive out to the desert by myself since 17, and i never thought i'd do it. i came home feeling that there really is no such thing as failure.
i am in a serious, long-term, monogamous relationship and have no plans to change that, but i am a bit of a flirt.
i'm a very open person until it comes down to the emotional stuff. this is something i've only recently realized about myself. that's one of the reasons i find writing to a stranger appealing.

Requests:
i'm interested in finding a pen pal who is creative and who could write to me at least once a month. i'd like to find someone i could open up to, who would like to exchange SNAIL MAIL about more than just day-to-day activities. i'm interested in sharing feelings, things i'm learning about myself and people in general, inspiration, and laughs.
age group: 25-30. not set in stone, just to give you an idea.
guy or girl, it doesn't matter. i tend to relate with guys more easily, but i assume that if you're responding to this it's because you saw something up there that spoke to you and that's what's important.
unfortunately, i can only speak english and bastardized franglais, so i would prefer a correspondence with someone who is fluent in english and can spell. beyond that, i'm open to talking with people from any country as long as we hit it off!
long letters are not necessary. thoughtful letters are a must.

Interests, Hobbies, etc.:
i have, over the past year, gotten back into making art for the joy of it. i don't really have anyone in my life who i can share the process with, and very few of my friends are even interested with the outcome, so i'd be thrilled i f i could connect with someone on that level. i've never been to art school and i'm not concerned (well, not too concerned) with the things i make being "good."
i've always enjoyed collaging with magazines and i've also started using garbage found in the street.
i love going for walks, journaling, sketching (i try!), writing poetry, and making postcards.
i blaspheme and use profanity. a lot. i enjoy finding new combinations of gross words and trying to top my friends. i often win. i also collect other words as well. what's your favorite word?
i collect answers to the question, "what is one of the prettiest songs you've ever heard?"
i am an atheist. it's not a big deal, but i completely understand if you'd rather not talk to me. just don't try to save me and we're cool.
i work at target. it is not glamorous or thrilling. i like it that way. my hobbies are way more interesting anyway. i'm really into collecting shopping lists left behind by customers.
i long for warm breezes and open windows, lightening bugs, and afternoon thunderstorms.

you never wrote back...does that mean you aren't interested in becoming friends?
Hi,
I have actually six rabbits. The one in the photo is called Sulo. It's a bit like "cute" in Finnish ;)

Hi Allie, wish i could live a life like yours, but not as free as you are!
"With my sign on your wall, the joy i leave today in your hall..
So you remember once and for all, that my smile is for you at all..
So That you remember me for long, in the meanwhile a sing you a song...
And now that you can't forget me, wait for me at the black cheerry tree.."
with sympathy
What a mysterious smile.. Could you please see my profile and mail if interested at : prem.geet@gmail.com
i dont know what i like most: the flowered red line on ur t-shirt, the grey line beside the red one, maybe ur hair or even ur glasses or ur way to look at or ur way to close ur mouth... but there is something even nicer, even more exciting: a month road trip across america. that is what i'd like for myself and ti would be nice to share it with a trip-mate that is what i miss.
If u r about to leave again, well let me know! :-P
