I feel like I am dodging the sickness bug. Sooo many of my friends or people at work seem sick, and so far I am lucky.

Did you hear about the Californian wildfires? these were the closest I have eer seen. They were about 10-8 miles away at one point and actually coming my way. I live near a big nature park and forested area and had that caught fire, the flames would have been maybe 5 miles away. But thankfully for me, but bad for other people, the wind blew the fires away from me.

Obama is assembling his cabinent. Hilary Clinton is supposed to becomes Secretary of State. Theres a few other posts to be filled but she is the biggest name. I think she will help rebuild America's foriegn policy.
Obama is basically anti-Bush in policies. He will raise taxes for anyone making $250,000 or more a year for one thing, and cut taxes for middle to lower class people. Bush only cut taxes for the rich. He is also planning a lot of new policies that will tighten environmenta​l regulations and many many more. But his biggest challenge is the economy which only sees to get worse here. The auto industry here is asking for their own bailout and it is a divisive issue.

Must have been nice to be a tourist:) Is Florence still crowded with Tourists btw? Maybe you can get around easier now that it is the Autumn. Who are your favorite artists?
