About Me:
Hello! I am college junior majoring in zoology, pre-veterinary medicine, and a specialization in environmental studies at Michigan State University. I was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, lived in Colorado for 16 years, and now I am living in Michigan. My friends say that I am sensitive, kind, cute, positive, happy, quirky, over paranoid, motherly, open-minded, gullible, and I think I am clumsy and talk a lot (especially with my hands ;) )...
I absolutely love animals!! I have wanted to work with animals since I was seven. I hope to either become a small animal veterinarian for, more specifically, dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, and pocket pets. And maybe specialize in rehabilitation for animals, specifically canines.
Or if not that I will probably get a PhD or Master's in zoology for animal behavior, wildlife management, or maybe Antarctic studies. I am recently looking into going to graduate school at the University of Otago or University of Canterbury in New Zealand. I would also like to do research in Antarctica because I love the cold! :)
But regardless, I want to work with animals in some way. I also would love to make a difference in this world somehow. =)

I am really starting this profile to get to know more international friends because I have always wanted to live somewhere else other than the US. I am most interested in either living in Wales or New Zealand. So, it would be lovely to meet people from either place.
I am also looking into getting an internship in New Zealand next May. So I guess at the moment I am really looking to find friends or penpals from New Zealand if possible. Thanks! =)
No marriage requests or money exchange. I would prefer to talk to someone close to my age (15-28) who wouldn't mind long e-mails or long letters via snail mail.
At the moment, I am only looking for people from other countries other than the US to be snail mail penpals (though I do not mind talking on this site to anyone around the world including the US).
