Hello. :)
Actually I just have some tests this week.. nothing major.. was just kinda busy this weekend. I've also been feeling quite lethargic and bored all the time for the past week or so.. I have no idea why but this occurs from time to time.. just waiting for it to pass.
Ujjain huh? I will look that up in the map. I love maps!

Hey, My only plan these days is to keep up with the suddenly increased volume of work I've received.  Things have been too, too busy.  Hope your life is a bit more relaxing than mine. :)

Yes, I think floods will become more and more common in the near future unfortunately.  Is the change of seasons noticeable where you are?

Hello My Friend, It's been awhile since we've talked.  How have you been keeping yourself lately?  I'm sitting and watching the grass grow in Istanbul.  Thankfully a normal work schedule will begin for me next week.  Otherwise you would find me at your door soon. ;)

Not to much (well ”everything is relatively”) on defence. Its not difficult to occupy Norway. Traditionally has the potensial enemy been The Soviet Union. Also because we have some common border.

I didn’t buy any stocks today. I haven’t any more money (and I won’t lend money to boy). I wait to the marked goes a little down. Then I sell. (I don’t have time, nerves or knowledge to do day-to-day (hour-to-hour) trade.

I still have more wood to move and stack but there have been other things to take care of too or I keep telling myself. I have had to go to town a few times to pick up dogs and then a meeting yesterday that took a couple of hours but it is all good.
Nice and cool here now with the temps getting down to freezing at night and up to maybe 50 F. in the day. It seems to rain every day a bit and I wish it would just snow! I have a nice fire going in the wood stove right now.
I put some more picutres on my profile today. Had fun taking them too.
Do you have a lot of porcupines where you live? We have a fair amount of them here in Alaska and I think they are a very interesting animal. Such cute faces and quite the unusual feet, almost like a bear pad on them.
I am sure I got calls from telemarketers from India, I am always polite but some times the calls came at bad times so I would explain and hang up. I bet you did not get paid much for that job and probably got some rude people to try to talk to.
The wild animals around here have never bothered my gardens but a couple of years ago a hawk got in with my chickens and killed one and hurt another one real bad. The hurt one was so nice and calm. I brought her into the house and laid her on my lap while I cleaned her up and then stitched her cut that was under the wind and up the neck, about 5 inches long. She did not mve one bit while I stitched her. I put her in a kennel and kept her in the house for the night then the next day put her back with the rest of them and she was fine and laying eggs soon there after. I don't have chickens anymore but will get some this next spring. I don't eat them, just the eggs for me.
I need to get some sleep now and then up early to do more work outside.

1150 million people. That is very  many people. We (that is I) think of India as a homogen country, but you probably have many folks/nations and many languages? And thank you: now I got the explanation for why  its so few people in Norway(hehe).

I am not sure I will belive you when you say saw from the Norwegian election on TV. What interest  international (USA / UK / India) TV has of the election in small Norway (perhaps 5 mill people) I don’t understand. It is true the politicians are rel. honest. But politics are politics and there are corruption in Norway too.

Hi my new friend~
I am so busy this time of year trying to get all that wood taken care of takes quite a while. I really think it grows as I take wood from the big pile to the shed for storage, I have a lot of wood moved and stacked but it does not look like the big pile has gotten any smaller! It was nice today so I put in some long hours with the wood and taking care of 7 dogs. I will have more time for writing once the outside work is all done and the snow is on the ground. There will be shoveling of snow but I like to do that.
My children and grandchildren all live in Oregon so I am 2200 miles away from them. I love them all to bits and wish we lived closer but I am not fond of Oregon so I visit when I can and try to get the grandkids up to visit me for summers now and then. Sure could of used some of the grandsons up her to help with the firewood.
I must go and get some rest for tomorrow will be another hard day of work.
Your friend,
Dianne

Hello back to you~
Very busy this time of year getting ready for winter. I have ten cords of wood that I finished splitting now just to haul it and stack it where it will be under cover. That is a lot of work and so far I have only moved and stacked about 3 cords. I will be doing a lot more tomorrow and hope to finish it  up this week even though it will be raining. After I have the wood all taken care of I can be lazy fo ra few days.
It froze the other night and after one or two more freezes I will be picking rose hips and highbush cranberries to make jam, syrup and juice. I love to harvest things for winter food and tea an well as some plants that are good for medicine.
My little granddaughter, Emma Jade, turned one last weekend. She is very tall and very skinny for a one year old. SHe is 32 & 1/2 inches tall and only 20 pounds.
Well, how is it going for you? are you still busy as ever? I like the pictures you posted, you area very good looking  young man and the country around you is beautiful.
Take care and drop me a line when you have time.
Your friend,
Dianne

Have you been in Norway? I live in the south near Oslo, and her it isn’t cold yet. But soon we will have some minus degrees (Celsius) in the night.
If you live in the mountain, it probably get cold in your pace too. I havnt been in India and im not sure I ever get there, but I know it’s a big country with many people ( over 1000000000 ?). Only China has more

Yes, this is where the 'dervish' or whirling practice comes from; but it's a lot more than that I think.  I've heard of Shasta as a kind of hippy heaven...other than that I don't know much about it.

There have been sects from several religions who have done similar things, believing that the body is evil or that it distracts us from our true, divine nature.  Hmmm.  Not sure how I feel about that exactly.  I would tend to think that we can't fully appreciate the divine in this realm without physical reality to compare it to.  What do you think?  Sufism is different from that I would say.  But again, I don't know as much about it as I would like.  How was your day?

Your home sounds very nice.  I am communications editor for an airport company here.  Rumi is all about the oneness of God and creation, every breath being for God.  Kind of mystical Islam.  I like him, though I don't know as much as I'd like.
