That doesn't prove anything at all. My argument was that people have been murdering other innocents IN THE NAME OF GOD. Not the devil, a saint or whatever. How the hell can god be called peace loving if his own followers murder millions upon millions of people?

No, that's not the question, that's Xenophobia. God is a purely subjective principle that varies from culture to culture and religion to religion. Even Christians can't work out how to interpret him. For all we know God could have the form of a bunny, or instead of being benevolent he could be malevolent.
