Aaaww, your career is really amazing!
I'd really like to make a similar weg, but for the moment I've been not able to develop my interests... I also loved sciences so my studies were about biotechnologies and I was so busy with university that I couldn't dedicate time to anything else. But when I was younger I started studying singing, and I loved performing... Today I went searching for an acting company near my town, to spend there my free time.

And the dulcimer *_* I really love that word and I didn't know what it was (before your message :P now I've searched some informations).
I also visited your blog, I'll follow you :D I started writing a blog in english just two days ago, it's here:  http://ladygreyandice.blogspot.com
for the moment it's a bit boring and sad: I've started it because my italian blog is known by all my friends and I need to vent with someone, like a psychologue but cheaper :p
But I hope that, when I am a bit happier and when I write fluently English, it will be funnier, and maybe I'll try to write haikus like you :D
Some years ago I love writing poems, now I'm no more in the habit of doing it.
Good, I go now!
Hope to hear from you soon ^-^

Hi, Pippi!

The colony where I used to live was Collingwood Arts Center in Toledo where I was born.  I lived there from 1988 to 1993.  You see, I worked as a musician, an actor, and a dancer from 1981 to 2004.  I'm not currently performing because I suffer from fatigue.  (Blah!)  I've managed to have a tiny bit of fiction published since then.  The colony had formerly been a convent.  Some say it's haunted.  There was actually an auditorium there, very convenient to simply come down from my rooms to the stage!  I also taught music, presenting workshops and giving group and private instruction on dulcimer and guitar.  In those days the hubby was doing visual art.  Now he's writing.  There's a link on my profile to a couple of my songs.  I can send you the lyrics if you have trouble with my Ohio accent.  ;)  I have a little blog where I occasionally add poems inspired by my dreams: http://dulcidream.blogspot.com .

Bye!  Becky

Hi :)
thank you for worrying about the earthquake: I live fortunately quite far from the epicenter. I have some friends who lived there for studying but, thanks God, they were come back home for Easter holidays.

Let's talk about something happier :)!
I didn't come on interpals since last november and I had completely forgotten my "about me" section :p but it still sais what I think. Moreover I love arts more than before! What did you do in arts colony? I found out that I really love painting on canvas, I never tried it before last Christmas (when I thought to make paintings as gift for my dear ones) so, now, I only lack a messy bohemian loft to feel good :p
I love the major part of the things you love, especially popcorn ( corn in general, the shapes of every pop corn, cornscratch et cetera :p), blowing bubbles and fairy tales, and snowmen and.. well :p almost everything!

Have you got a blog?
I joined interpals to learn german, but now I've got more spare time and I'd like to improve my English :D
If we continue writing each other I'd really like snailmailing too!

See you soon :)
Pippi

Hi, Cretina!

You have a fun "About Me" section.  Especially the bit about being a poet in a loft, et cetera.  This reminds me of my youth as I lived five years in an arts colony!  Like you I am also in love with words.  Dictionaries are some of my favorite books.

Bye!  Becky_Blue

PS I hope none of your dear ones were victims of the earthquake.
