Indeed, I prefer to wait until I know more regarding my credit card apply, so I can book my flight and hotel room cheaper, and I'm pretty sure that money can come in handy whenever I'm in Brighton and especially expensive London.

Oh yes, I'll be perfectly able to adapt to Dublin climatewise,​ as it won't be a lot different than it is in the Netherlands.​ And it won't be a lot different in Berlin either, the summers will be a little warmer and the winter will be a little colder due to their land climate.

I understand that you'd like to experience a winter someday, although it might get too extreme for comfort in the US. Why would you like to live in the US anyway? Just because of the warmth? Or because pf the love of your life? ;) Or something else?

Oh. Then why do you call it a walk if it is a meeting???? :S

Well I know it rains a lot in Ireland and even though I love rain.. to much of it can be a pain. Im sure you will be able to addapt, cuz you get a fair share of rain in The Netherlands as well.

A photo walk is just a different name for a meet-up. :) I just returned from it, and I had a good time. I had my flight to Dublin booked oldschool through a travel agency, even though I knew it was going to be more expensive this way. But I didn't really have a choice back than, as I didn't have a job when I booked my Dublin trip and the bank doesn't give creditcards to people that are unemployed.

It depends on what you call cold though. Sure, Dublin isn't a tropical paradise with hot summers, but their winters aren't really cold either due to the sea climate. The summers in the States are usually warm, but their winters are generally cold.

Besides that, the American weather is a lot more unstable and inpredictabl​e than the European weather, especially in the winter. You could be walking around in a thick jacket on day 1, in a hoodie on day 2, and in that thick jacket again on day 3. But heck, in the end it's all about what you prefer, right? :)

There's this photo walk tomorrow that I'm going to join, but I don't have any further plans. Yeah I know. We dont have that problem here. Even during the winter we get a lot of sunlight. The downside to that is that we get old a lot faster than people who live in countries which arent so warm/hot.

I do need all the sunlight I can get this year, just because I can't remember us having an even crappier fall than the fall we're having so far this year. You really need your vitamin D's to create the necessary chemistry that makes you feel happy, but it sucks when it hardly has been sunny the last month.

I think it would be cool to be a main character in a Grand Theft Auto-ish kind of game. And otherwise, being a character of Road Rash (a motor racing game in which you have to race dirty by fighting your competitors)​ would be awesome as well. :D

Havent done much today or yesterday. I am a bit bored, but not too bad.

Partially it's the little amount of sleep that I had last night, but it's also because we've had a lot of bad weather the last few weeks. Lots of cloudy skies and rain and such, while we had quite a good summer. So maybe it's the contrasty transition that's affecting my mood a lot. And yep, it is getting colder quickly as well, but I don't mind that. :)

I'll hope your dad has forgotten about it all, even though it might be a little bit of a too optimistic thought... ;) And well, I would have brought this huge beach towel then, so you could dry yourself a little first before I could cuddle you. :P Anyway, so what have you been doing at home today?

No I dont think they will learn from it. Two years ago it rained as well, but just before the final event of the evening.  No it stopped raining for now. Tomorrow it will be partly cloudy and from Wednesday it will start raining again.

If only the sky was as blue as my mood… *sigh* :P That’s just what you get from going to bed late during the weekend, then I’m also getting up late in that same weekend, making me not that tired on Sunday evening.
