I am a Jamaican immigrant residing in the United States.  I currently live in the Bronx and work in Westchester County as the Director of Human Resources at a college.  I also serve as the head of a not-for-prof​it organization​ which I co-founded over five years ago.  The organization​ "Helpin​g Hands For Immigrants' Integration"​ provides services to immigrants to the United States to facilitate speedy integration into American society.  I am passionate about immigration issues, as I am an immigrant.  While growing up I had penpals and thought it would be good to do it again.  I am interested in developing friendships with people from other cultures.  I am a professional​ and an artist but will share more about me as our relationship​ progresses.  I love nature and I am an amateur photographer​ of landscapes. I am a florist and also bake and cook.  I have been in the creative arts all my life as a singer, actor, writer.  I am married but have no children.  I go home to Jamaica 2 to 3 times per year to see to my mom who is living there.

I am interested in meeting people from other cultures especially Africa, India, the Caribbean, South America, Europe.  I am also interested in learning Spanish and French.  I am very interested in traveling to the regions listed.  Europe will be my first stop.

I am proficient in English and Jamaican Patois.  I studied Spanish for five years but lost the skill to communicate because of lack of practice.  I still remember some of the basic vocabulary.  I have never studied French.
