About Me:

I'm determined to keep my feet off the ground for as long as I breathe. dissonance is my key to balance and balance is what I strive for. There is so much going on but somehow I'm able to keep a smile, however crooked. we could get along.

Requests:

Thinkers and those late night owls that I've yet to talk to. People who don't have inhibitions and answer questions that other people wouldn't usually ask. I'd like it if you'd type more than one sentence and go beyond the answer to the question 'What's up?' People who stick out of the page.

Oh, and, long term friends.

Interests, Hobbies, etc.:

I like sand between the crevices of my wet toes. The silent 'thank you' my body says when I lay down in my bed after a great day. Feeling and learning. Looking out of other people's windows and perspectives. Spending the day playing video games and getting lost in the city at night. Writing until my hands grow sore and typing until Carpal Tunnel feels like it's setting in. Taking mental pictures and developing them on paper. Music still has to find it's place in my life, but it's somewhere between oxygen and family.

Are you well?

I've never read the book but I've had it recommended to me a few times - I think I'll try and read it sometime.

I'm going on holiday today and I managed to bruise my **** toe. It hurts so much and I am so annoyed.

GCSE results get you into Sixth Form and the two years of Sixth Form is split into AS and A2 levels, which are standalone qualifications, but A2 builds on AS. We get seperate grades for each subject which can also be changed into points (120 for A2 A, 80 for AS A, 100 for A2 B, 50 for AS B etc, down to E) if the University wants that.

That's a lovely thing to fear, as strange as that sounds. It says a lot about you.

I've never read it. Mills&Boon is about the trashiest of the trashy but it's fun in it's...rubbishness! I'm taking Sons and Lovers with me on holiday, I've not read it for years and I don't think I entirely understood it when I did.

I hope you're well!

Sorry for replying so late.
I like Iggy Pop, but  Siouxsie's cover is better from my point of view! 8)

Uh, it's already 00:10 AM so my day has almost finished. I've drawn a nu.de woman, go me! :D (Why is the word "nu.de" being censored here???)

I haven't tried meditation. How do you feel when doing it?

Your "I feel amaaaaaazing" remind me of some commercial. There was a guy saying "I feel grrrreaaaaaat." xD

That sounds boring though, doesn't it?

Welll, because they're walking so **** fast, and the whole point of an escalator is that you don't have to walk to get where you're heading, it moves for you! And there's even an unspoken rule about leaving the left side open so that people can run in it easier. Jeez, haha. But yeah, it's fun to watch people.^^

Oh, many asians? We have many people from the Middle East here, I think. Because of the war down there and all. But no Koreans though, I don't think I've ever met one. Closest thing I've come to knowing an Asian are the adopted ones in my class, haha.

Hm, I didn't really see much of it, but looked like any other island, haha. Finland's not much diffrent from Sweden, maybe a bit colder. It even used to belong to Sweden (so did Åland), once upon a time, haha.

Oh, my birthday was early in July, but thank you. I'm very ticklish, but I didn't notice it during the massage. I don't think I can get a foot massage though, I almost tickle myself sometimes, haha.

Oh yeah, haha. It was nice to get some sleep.^^

Haha, I hate when that happens. I get so mad at myself. I normally try to remember to copy everything I've written before I try to post it, just in case. But sometimes I just forget.

Oh, Tagalog, what is that? I don't think I've ever heard of that language before. There are different ways of pronouncing sjö, down here in the south we pronounce it in a way that' s very hard for foreigners to mimic. The sj sound is pronounced like sh in the north, but here it's a kind of blowing sound, you exhale and then make something like an "uh" in the back of your throat. It's so hard to explain, haha.

Haha, I guess you could go to the cinema, or to a club. The cafés aren't open, but the resturants usually are.

Haha, but it was just really a very small hotel. There's a camping spot at our lake, we get tons of tourists every year (mostly Germans and Danes). Yes, the buildings still there, it's the one they're going to make into a pizzaria.^^ There's an old building here that's being rebuilt after a fire, one man has been working on it for I don't know how long. We were all very scared of him when we were small (he seems so weird, and of course, we heard that he hates kids. And he slept in that house sometimes!). Haha, I have to admit that I'm still a bit scared of him.

Some of the stones have names, there's one that's called Stor-Karins sten (Big-Karins stone). She, among others, was a giant (you see, there were giants here once upon a time), and one day when she was sleeping, there was a terrible noise that woke her up! The noise was terrible, it came from the church bells! Stor-Karin became so mad, she picked up a huge rock and threw it on the church, but she missed. And the rock she threw split in half.

The church stones are all split in half, and giants was probably the explanation people came up with because they didn't have a better explanation for why the stones looked like that. Now we know it was because of the ice sheet. That sounds boring though, do
