I'm again in front of one those empty text area and again don't really know how I'm going to introduce myself. But I think I'll survive this desperating  white box once more 8)

Well, my name's Mathieu, I'm from Switzerland.​ (My mother language is French. I specify it because it's not really obvious to know which language speak someone from Switzerland.​..)

I travelled through some European cities. I liked it very much and hope to discover more country in the future. Though, I am not here to find a guest, but because I like meeting new people and discover how they live, discover their culture. I am open-minded (anyway, I hope so :) and looking for open-minded people, with great and deep respect for their peers !
Actually, I am persuaded we are all able to live in respect of others' choices and personality ; I am persuaded respect should be the very foundation of all human relationship​s and is a proof of reflexion and intelligence​.

Ich kann auch Deutsch, obwohl ich noch nie in Deutschland war. I am really interested in foreign languages (but sadly I don't have enough time to practise them) and everything that's connected to them. So, I love reading and writing. I think those are my favourite hobbies.
Maybe you understood it, I'm looking for "serious"​ pen pals, especially from Europe and Northern America. I'd prefer to meet people who won't stop writing after two or three letters and who love well and full written texts and write more than just two sentences each time. So, if you're interested in long last friendship per emails or letters, write me a message.

As just said in my description,​ especially open-minded people from Europe and Northern America who love reading and writing full texts and who won't stop let hear from them after just a few letters.
I enjoy both emails and letters.

French is my mother language, but I can speak fluently both English and German.

Sciences, history, politics, literature, music and perhaps also a bit of soft philosophy and many other things.

Country and Bluegrass (Johnny Cash, Nickel Creek, The Cardigans), some Jazz (Norah Jones, Diana Krall) sometimes, rock (The Sunday Drivers, Elvis Presley - yeah, a bit old-fashione​d) or one or two French groups like Michey3D or Dyonisos.

(Non exhaustive list, like all those lists. Nobody would read them if they would contain hundreds titles.)

I like (good) movies a lot, which quite often disqualifies​ Hollywoodian​ films.

I never watch TV, I cannot stay in front of this little screen doing nothing. I am not hyperactive,​ but my brain has to be stimulated 24h (maybe more :) a day.
I sometimes watch documentarie​s all the same, documentarie​s with social or historical themes, and of course The Simpsons.
