Your nickname sounds like an outdated piece of software - "Edit '95" ...Sorry, not sorry. Couldn't help saying that.

Hello! Sorry for my late reply too. I came back to this site recently. Since you haven't logged in to Interpals for a while, maybe you've been busy with your study? Hope everything's been going well with you!

I didn't do anything special this summer, but I went to Taiwan in October! Japan and Taiwan are close (it takes only 3 hours by airplane), but actually that was my first visit there.
And I went to 2 concerts recently: one is actually a music festival called Ozzfest Japan, where I saw Evanescence; the other is Halestorm, it's an American band. Both bands were just awesome!

Yeah I was very lucky:) I can't wait to see the band again! I've been listening to only their music since after the concerts, haha. Do you have any plans for going to concerts?

Oh, your friend is going to Oklahoma. I've never been anywhere near there... but if she can make a long road trip, the Grand Canyon could be a good place to go. Or some big cities in Texas would be closer.
I always made plans what to visit before going to the US! I bought a guidebook and while I was on an airplane, I checked all the places I wanted to visit.

Yup I went to see FOB, actually twice at the end of March! Once at a music festival, and the other at their own show. Their shows were very exciting and I was happy that they played many songs. Also, I was lucky enough to see the bands so close- in the second row at the festival, in the fourth row at their own show, both right in the middle!:)

Oh, your friend is going to the US this summer! I envy her too, hahaXD Do you know where in the US she's going? Summer is when the travel expenses would be very high...
Haha, I know! But I just can't feel comfortable asking pictures of me anyway.lol

Haha, maybe you're right! I'm going to Fall Out Boy (and a few more bands) next Friday and I'm quite excited. And I hope to see some funny people thereXD

Yup, it was very memorable and I really enjoyed the trip! I wasn't afraid of traveling alone actually. I can speak English (not fluent though) and I had a reliable guidebook. I just had to be careful. Since the long trip, I've mostly traveled alone when I go abroad. Last year I traveled in the US and Canada for 3 weeks alone (well, actually not alone in Canada- I have friends there), and in Italy for 10 days or so alone:) Traveling alone is fun, the only thing I feel inconvenient about it is, I always have to ask someone when I want pictures of myself at tourist spots, haha. You should go to the US and Canada someday! They're my favorite countries and they have many things to see.
Your adventure sounds fun for me, I'd like to try things like that sometime!:)

I agree! Even if you don't like some artists' music, live performances are always awesome to see!:)
Haha, the guy must have been memorable!XD I wonder if his neck was okay after that... Oh, I still remember one guy at Nightwish's concert, he was also headbanging, but it was the one of the heaviest headbangings I've ever seen.lol

My biggest adventure? Hmm... Maybe I can say it was a trip in February-March in 2012. It was my first time traveling alone for a whole month. I went to Toronto, Boston, NYC, Washington D.C., Las Vegas, and Los Angeles. How about you?

I hope you can go to many concerts from now on! You're still very young- I mean, I went to the first concert (Green Day) when I was 19 years old.

>I saw some that I thought I would hate, because I don't like that music style, but surprisingly I enjoyed them very much
Oh I understand you! I guess I'll enjoy any kind of music if I see them live. I wasn't interested in seeing Franz Ferdinand or Metallica before seeing them at the festival, but actually their performances were amazing!

My first big concert was Green Day, it was in 2009. I've seen them 3 times including the first one. Actually I'm going to see Fall Out Boy twice next month! They're coming to Japan for a music festival, but they've recently announced that they would have their own concert only once after the festival. I'm going to both!
The music festival you went to last summer was 4 days long! That's long. I've also been to music festivals a few times in summer and it was only 2 days long. I saw Green Day, Franz Ferdinand, Lostprophets etc. 3 summers ago, and Muse, Metallica, Linkin Park, Fall Out Boy, Imagine Dragons, etc. 2 summers ago.
Besides the bands above, I've seen My Chemical Romance (I saw them in the front row!!), Simple Plan (3 times), Paramore, Nightwish, Avril Lavigne, the Pretty Reckless, and some more. How about you?:)
