Sarah Beeny's always poking her nose in and shattering people's illusions about their own creative expression. They always have interesting although potentially unprofitable ideas about their houses, and then Sarah comes along and says, 'no, there should be a downstairs toilet in magnolia' or 'no, the type who'd live here would probably want an aga', and then by the time's the renovation's done the house has gone up in price anyway. I can relate far more to Kirstie Allsopp and Phil whatsisname and they don't have the withering, condescending look that Beeny gives people.
