You are wrong. I am fully aware of what it means. I find it somewhat insulting that you would think I bought it as souvenir thinking it would be something typical all-time-russian. The main usage afterward the revolutions were theatric. Both for children and for actors who did those "revolutionary plays" on stage to honour the ppeople who died for the early Soviet Union. I'm interested in communism and the ultranationalist dictatorships (people usually call them fascist but that is only the Italian one, which had many unique traits not shared by nazis or the ultranationalists in hungary, romanania etc.). I'd love a Napoleon hat btw. I am the crass opposite of current Western state ideology (in some countries like Germany or Sweden, this ideology can already be called state religion) and study all types of ideologies and what they did right and wrong. I'm somewhat nationalist (for Russian standards, for self hating sociology students, I am like Hitler and was called nazi multiple times), also somewhat socialist but what I am most certainly for is a strong state that can protect its borders and realise big tasks. Did you hear that Czech people tried to lynch Merkel and her visit was met with similar joy throughout central Europe :D
It was a gift from an Ukrainian. Maybe subversive action to make Russia look bad? ;) What do you mean
