Summary of the text: “the smell of true love”

The text is about how pheromones can make us seem more attractive to certain people. Experts already knew that animal’s pheromones give genetic information about each other’s immune systems in order to help the animals choosing partners whose pheromones match with their own. However, in 1986, scientists from the USA found out pheromones also work for human beings: They gave some women different male’s sweat, and they chose the ones that were from men whose immune system was the most different from their own. That proves that pheromones are exchanged by our transpiration, and they work for human beings too.
