Some basics are always useful ... Ex Machina was quite intriguing ... also the question of articial sexuality. I am not sure whether I studies the Touring test but it is interesting topic to find out whether a machine has real human intelligence. Being confronted with authorities and bureaucrats gave me the idea of the Inverse Touring Test: The ITT is passed when a person behaves like he or she is a machine.. I guess, this happens more often as we can imagine ;-)

You can just learn it, you are still quite young ... , start with a book and small sketches. I also like to learn this... What are your stories about?
