"Not very cheap", how generous of you :D But yes, I understand that you actually have to pay a reasonable price to actually get a good meal made of good ingredients, not necessarily perfect but, well, edible ;) I can recommend the restaurant 'U Drahokoupilu', it's pretty far from the city centre but close to a metro station, so it's pretty easy to get there - for around 150+ rubles you can get a DELICIOUS traditional meal, the place is frequented mostly by the locals but it's in a business district of sorts, not too elegant but all the corporate employees who work there eat their diners there, excellent place.

And you should definitely visit Poland, at least Kraków - it's pretty much on the way to Prague, the Old Town is lovely, much smaller than the one in Prague but it should get you in the right mood ;)

Yeah, that's what I was asking about - if you have 24h long days/nights during summer/winter. Still, it's pretty cool that you can observe aurora as well, that's one thing I despise about living in the south, you never get to see northern lights here, and they're beautiful.

I see that you're a fan of The Witcher, ever tried reading it in Polish? ;)

Gandalf? Well, I've been compared to metal guitar players, Vikings, Cousin Itt from the Addams Family and that's pretty much it, a comparison to Gandalf is pretty new to me ;)

I've just realized how far north you live, do you get polar nights up there?
