Well, chickens, yes, but eggs...hmmm. I can imagine it, though. Even people like me who've been around livestock all our lives, we get attached to the animals. When people seriously ask me, I tell them,
"it's not that we're cold blooded and thick skinned. It makes you really appreciate the precious value of food and life. They go together." If that makes any sense.
