Raw vegan? Wow that's pretty impressive. I've been vegan for almost two years but I don't think I could ever go raw.

hello, again. I think you should educate yourself more in human evolution, anthropology, prehistoric "history" and especially medical aspects of food and what kind of food we NEED.

I will addresse your false assertions, that are not facts at all.
1. Humans are not vegetarians at all. This can be seen historically even down to homo erectus. Same goes for cooking. Actually the invention of cooking is now credited as one major contributing factor to the developement of such a large brain (which consumes 25% or more of our whole calories) and thus for creating real humans with culture and abilities to think abstractly. Some overly enthusiastic people (like with every new evidence backed hypothesis) claimed it was the only reason but no, I don't think so. Still it was a major one. That our diet has always been a mixed one can be seen in much of our organs. Our intestines, our teeth. But even more telling is the human movement apperatus of muscles, bones and joints aswell as the very rare method to cool down our body through sweating. Why would it need to do so? Why would herbivores (even if they ocassional ate some meat) need these features that evolved for long term running. If humans had developed speed running to get away from predators, then we would have had a very fast sprint instead. You can see the most ancient human hunting methods among the Bushmen/Khoisan, who are/were the native population of Southern Africa and they are a seperate race, so not the same as the negroid/congoid Africans from the tropical parts, and they are the first human race - I mean, the first population that seperated from the common ancestors of the rest of humanity.

2. Also false. A healthy vegetarian diet can only be persued in civilisations with large trading connections because there are many nutrients that are only found in meat normally. Through modern research, we know also plants and fungi with them but ancient people could not.

3. That is sooooo complete nonsense t

May I ask why you are a raw vegan? I don't want to insult you but it seems like madness to me and if you are not wealthy and can get fruits and vegetables from all over the world, it will also be very unhealthy. I don't want to push you towards eating everything. I'm just curious and I'm worried about your health. With that kind of food subculture, you need to check the micro and macro nutrients and especially also the proteins and amino acids in your plants. If you are conscious about that and can eat expensive import foods and look at your blood serum levels of the necessary nutrients like twice a year, it should be okay. But it really makes me curious how a scientificly educated person (you say you are an engineer) could believe the stuff of the raw-eating cult. Humanity could only become humanity through the extra calories we get from cooking. Stone age people even had soups already. I can understand why one would not eat animals with some degree of awareness. One feels bad about killing to eat it.But other animal products that do not involve killing anybody like wool, the eggs of chicken (those eggs won't become chicken because they are not fertilised so it's no abortion but eating their menstruation ;) ), I would like to know why. Don't get me wrong, I' m genuinely curious.
