Yes, that is always a struggle. What works well is if you set a scheduled practice time every day (like you would a class) even if it's just 30 minutes a day. It's better to practice a short time every day that a long time for one day. If you stick with it, you will be able to do it!

I have been playing violin for 9 years. I started in middle school when I was 11. I have been playing piano for 2 years now.
Sometimes I wish I had started when I was younger, but I am happy with where I am now. Besides, it's about love for music and being happy to share it with other people not necessarily about how good you are. There is always going to be something you can improve, even with professionals. If you have passion for playing and you practice, then that is amazing no matter what level you are at!
