I've never met anyone from Minnesota but having traveled last summer to Colorado for the first time, was pleasantly surprised by the overall friendliness and relaxed vibe I saw in people. I work in the city, so I see a lot of the 'rush' mentality here. I'm originally from Colombia in South America, but aside from two other states I lived in for shorter periods, I've lived in NY for close to two decades. The ease of travel through public transportation & amenities within close proximity are the pluses of being here. But I think I'd quite welcome a different kind of lifestyle in a calmer place :) I've been upstate various times & it is a very recharging experience being by the mountains, breathing fresh air & being surrounded by nature. I quite like it & wished I could go more often.
How do you like life in Minnesota? Have you lived anywhere else? How does it compare? I much want to visit Portland, Oregon. Perhaps next summer. Feel free to send a direct message if you'd like to continue to chat. :)

Do you understand the rules of baseball? I've tried to watch some games on ESPN, but often I end by wondering why the point was given to that team and not to the other one :D
