About Me:

Now that I've been on this site a short time I'm really surprised people sound so sweet to you and then cut you off. Sure it takes effort and sometimes it's a bit mundane butwhat do you expect when you try to get to know someone via email.

Hello everyone. I'm just an average good guy. I"m Italian by background, single, never married with no children.I come from a big family and have been around nieces, nephews and family friends children allot.  I try to stay positive, be honest and upfront while minding my own business.

I'm a good listener and feel I may have something good to offer as far as being a good penpal. I'm here to take give my best effort and not be a fly by nighter. I realize not all contacts will click.

I grew up in a smaller country town and now live in a surburb area. So I can relate to most living situations. Coming from a big family I learned to do things for myself early on. I would cook and do my own laudry while still in high school. I lived my own schedule and being the youngest all the kids had their own lives. I played sports in high school, had average grades, did a two year technical college, and a four year school as an adult earning a BA in Accounting (never worked in the field though).

I"ve always like sports and music allot. I follow sports but in moderation. I still seek new music to listen to and enjoy adding to my big music collection. Computers and cds have made things real nice but also has added a ton of work with mp3 convertion or making backup copies.

I try to live clean with only consuming moderate alcohol. Micro brew beer and some wine. I enjoy a variety of foods and don't mind being in the kitchen. I'm fairly handy around the house and with cars if need be.

I hope to have a photo or two uploaded soon. Give me some time.

Requests:

I seek new female pen pals around 21 to 52 who can converse back n forth. It can be everyday things, about your life, work or children, news and other things. I wouldn't mind having a close friend or two. Also just some good chat friends.

Anyone care to trade music?

I've been told in the past I'm a good listener and been complimented on my writing and listening skills. Email is best but I"m not oppose to snail mail. In a way it's more intimate on a writing level. Also snail mail can draw out your storys more.

Interests, Hobbies, etc.:

Watching sports on tv and in person. My playing days are over. I'm getting back into working out on the bike and lifting weights. I would like to start swimming. I collect music and prefer listening to music than having tv on. I do enjoy going to concerts. Western Ny has a very good concert scene with plenty of free summer shows or very good acts. Being close to Canada music from up north has always found a way in my heart through the years.

Favorite Music:

I'll just list who I listen to of late. Blue Rodeo, Amos Lee, Jackie Greene, Railroad Earth, Kasey Chambers, Chris Hilman, Bodeans, Phil Lesh & Friends, Big Head Todd, Ryan Adams, Neal Casal, Gin Blossoms, Assembly of Dust, Scarecrow Collection, Todd Sheaffer, Chris Hennessee, Rob Lamothe, The Riverdogs, Poco, Chris Knight, Freddy Jones Band, Indigenous,Teddy Thompson, Kathleen Edwards, Tommy Bolin, Richie Kotzen, just to name a few...Americana and Folk Rock mostly now. Of course I like classic rock and good oldies. I try to listen to college radio for my new music and search the internet superhighway.

Favorite Movies:

I don't watch many. Tell me some of your favorite movies to watch and I can start there.

Favorite TV Shows:

24...Prison Break...Bones...Entourage...48 Hrs....Prime Time...Heroes....Lost...My Life...Numbers...College football.

Favorite Books:

I"m sorry to say I don't read books much. I tend to read "How To" or "DYI" information. I would like to read books about the Irag war and first hand accounts. So please suggest anything.

I have traveled to the mainland; I have family in California and Arizona that I visit -- CA more often than anywhere else.  I've also been to Nevada (mostly for Vegas) and NYC (Atlanta and Chicago also, if you count our short layover in the airport).

I don't get tired of HI, but I guess I'm not as appreciative of it as I should be.  Tourists and visiting guests definitely make me feel somewhat jaded.  I like to play tourist every now and then when family comes to visit the island.

Actually, no I do not.  I wonder if it is the opposite reason that I listen to vinyl, more for the crackling and interrruptions of flipping the record over rather than the high quality seamlessness of a cd.

Hello to you, btw.

Hawaii is pretty good today.  We've had storm weather for the last week and a half -- non-stop rains, and strong winds -- but today we only had a little rain and a little (but still not enough) sun.
