Look down from heave, O Lord, upon the lambs of your flock. Bless their bodies and their souls; and grant that they who have received your sign, O Christ, on their foreheads may be your own on the day of your appearing; for your Name's sake

How great is your goodness, dear Lord!

Blessed are you for ever!

May all created things praise you, O God,

for loving us so much that we can truthfully speak?

Of your fellowship with mankind, even in this earthly exile;/

and however virtuous we may be,

our virtue always depends on your great warmth

and generosity, dear Lord.

Your bounty is infinite.

How wonderful are your works!

I know your works, your toil and your patient endurance. I know that you cannot tolerate evildoers; you have tested those who claim to be apostles but are not, and have found them to be false. I also know that you are enduring patiently and bearing up for the sake of my name, and that you have not grown weary. But I have this against you, that you have abandoned the love you had at first. Remember then from what you have fallen; repent, and do the works you did at first.

"It is a common temptation of Satan to make us give up the reading of the Word and prayer when our enjoyment is gone; as if it were of no use to read the Scriptures when we do not enjoy them, and as if it were no use to pray when we have no spirit of prayer.

The truth is that in order to enjoy the Word, we ought to continue to read it, and the way to obtain a spirit of prayer is to continue praying.

The less we read the Word of God, the less we desire to read it, and the less we pray, the less we desire to pray."

Personally, I can't imagine how a Christian can survive in this dark world without a regular reading, memorizing, and meditation of God's Word.

So don't let Satan to win over you...

No man is an island, entire of itself; every man is a piece of the continent, a part of the main. If a cloud be washed away by the sea, Europe is the less, as well as if a promontory were, as well as if a manor of thy friend's or of thine own were: any man's death diminishes me, because I am involved in mankind, and therefore never send to know for whom the bells tolls; it tolls for thee.

I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. If you do not remain in me, you are like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned. If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. This is to my Father's glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples.

Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is a gift of God, which is why we call it the present

It is not the strength of your faith but the object of your faith that actually saves you.

Hi there and it's Sammy here again.

Today, I would like to share to you a great revelation from my memory verse of the day that says...

"For the LORD God is a sun and shield; the LORD bestows favor and honor; no good thing does He withhold from those whose walk is blameless" - Psalm 84:11

As you can see, the Scriptures tells us that the Lord God serves as a sun and shield for us.

Think about it.

What benefits do we gain from having the sun in our daily lives? The sun provides light from the darkness of the night, it gives warmth to ward away the chill and cold, and it sustains the earth on which we plant our crops that, in turn, sustain us.

Astonishing, isn't?

But the problem is, it is easy to lose our way and rely too much on things in this world that care and provide for our needs, but we must never lose sight of the truth that it is the Lord God who bestows upon us in order to experience rich and satisfying lives.

Fact is, When we put our hope and trust in the Father, we strengthen our relationship with Him. In turn, He is the sun that shines our way forward into more blessings and deeply-satisfying lives.

Keep that in mind!
