Hi thanks for your message. It's getting cold here, would love to be somewhere warm, I'm jealous lol. But the real cold is yet to come, mainly January and February, the coldest months with snow and below freezing temps. At least not as cold as up north. So, is Jamaica culture similar to USA culture? Or are there big differences?​ How is the cost of living? If I was rich I'd get a house on the beach there XD

Hello Ruth Deloris,
I would love to be your friend. It is always interesting getting to know other people in education.  Are you back in school yet? I am a Secretary at a Middle School which is grades 6 - 8 (The kids are around 10 y.o.to 14 y.o.) We are still out for the summer and start back on September 8th. It is always exciting, at least for me. I love starting back and getting back to a normal routine.

How old are your sons?  I have 3 children. Brandon is 24. Jon is 21, and Claudia just turned 20. I am starting to enjoy things that interest me more and not finding things for my kids as much. Very different. After 24 years of looking after children, I am finding it difficult to focus on myself.  This internationa​l penpal thing is actually assisting me by focusing my thoughts on me and adult issues instead of the kids and their issues. Well I guess it not working to well, because I am still talking about them to much!!
