Having overheard your quesntions to another chinese guy about 'where is Xi'an in China',I was absolutely seized by tremendous rage.How could that be a question?Located on the endpoint of silkroad,The most prestigious prosperious and important megacity Xi'an was in ancient time especially in Tang dynasty(618-907 AD) when places like Edo were just hamlets,Paris just villages,Rome barely towns!

Maybe the only pity with Xi'an is most glories of it have been more or less obscured by the fog of ages.
